This is my fave Vietnamese place!
It's right in town, next to Mama Woo BBQ on king street!
Super clean!
They are super friendly and nice!
I always get the BBQ Chicken and Vermicelli (it's so delish!)
The only drawback... sometimes the parking is full.
I definitely recommend checking this place out!! -

Some pho places look too fancy, doesn't taste great and it's overpriced. But here it's really clean, the guy always greets us and is very friendly! Service is fast and he's constantly refilling waters. The menu is affordable and everything is good quality. I noticed 3~4pm is more crowded, but the food comes out pretty quick!
I have tried their pho, egg noodle soup, vermicelli bowls, and their rice plates. It's all really good! So you definitely have a variety to choose from if you don't always want pho. Also the garnishes (bean sprouts, basil leaves, lemon, etc) is always fresh! It's never dirty or browning.
For pho, their broth is clear, it's definitely savory/salty, which I think how pho soup is suppose to be? I like how there's a medium option because I really can't finish a L/XL alone. They even have many condiments on the side and their hot sauce (besides siracha) are good and spicy! -

Good summer rolls with tofu. Good peanut sauce. Girlfriend is super picky this is the best summer roll she's found in Oahu.
I don't really ever crave this kind of food but enjoyed the summer roll also. Would try something else sometime. -

I just finished eating a bahn mi sandwich from Ba Le at the UH campus, but I was craving pho so I searched my trusty Yelp app and found this place. I was sitting out traffic anyway, so I thought, why not? The entrance to this place is kind of tricky. Slow down or you might miss it. The restaurant wasn't crowded when I got there around 4:00pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Lucky for me because this place has very limited parking.
The broth was surprisingly clear. I've never had pho that clear. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't to my liking since I prefer my pho on the salty side as opposed to sweet. I doused it with fish sauce until I finally got it to a level that wasn't as sweet. The positive thing about this place is that they gave an ample amount of rare beef. If you like your pho on the sweet side, then you might like this place. However, if you're like me and you like your soup salty, then this place isn't for you. -

Good pho! Broth is flavorful without being heavy. They give you an option to sub egg noodles instead of vermicelli which I recommend. I love pho but I don't like rice noodles, so this is perfect. They're served al dente and remind me of ramen noodles.
The serving size of meat and veggies is a bit stingy which is why I only gave 4 stars. It's also expensive compared to other spots. An XL pho with 4 types of meat, egg noodles and a side of beef balls with a coke and a coffee was $30. The soup only had 2 balls in it, which were cut in half so we got a side order of meat balls and that only had 3 balls in it. The side of veggies was small and only 1 slice of lemon and jalapeño. But it was still tasty.
Good selection of condiments including a chili garlic sauce in oil that wasn't the standard stuff other places offer.
